Risk Management
There are risks everywhere, but it is how we manage those risks that will determine their impact.
It is important to identify the key risks which may impact on you, your family, and your business. Once identified, you can set about developing a plan to prioritise, eliminate, minimise, and/or mitigate these risks.
Risks can be personal, farm, financial, market, environmental, or involve health and safety. Depending on those key risks, there are often ways to reduce or minimise that risk to have the least impact on you and your business.
Good risk management requires a positive attitude (culture) from all parties involved in a business. Everyone must take responsibility to identify and minimise risk.
Your Risk Management Strategy must be reviewed regularly, and action taken to protect all involved.
